Tiffany Chin is the co-founder and President of Leafs By Snoop (LBS), the premier cannabis brand by Snoop Dogg. As the first celebrity branded line of cannabis in the United States, LBS is currently distributed in over 150 Colorado retailers. The LBS brand is also sold nationwide in Canada.
Before joining the Snoop Dogg team and working in the cannabis industry, Tiffany started and sold a business in the logistics and packaging industry, and subsequently went on to consult for Navigant Consulting in their accounting and actuarial sciences division.
Tiffany attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and received a Bachelors of Science in Economics with a focus in Marketing and Management, while also minoring in music.
A brand strategist since 2004, Rachel Colic has blazed her reputation by digging deep to understand the ‘why’ that fuels consumer behaviour. Armed with meticulously researched and finely crafted insights, Rachel develops fully integrated brand experiences for customers, and exponential growth for businesses.
Rachel is a frequent writer and speaker on strategic branding, marketing to women and using cannabis as medicine. As chief strategist for YCREATIVE, a brand strategy and design agency specializing in the cannabis industry, Rachel works closely with Licensed Producers, cannabis start-ups and ancillary businesses throughout Canada and the United States.
Rachel is also the founder of Eves of Eden, a cannabis lifestyle and education brand for women in Canada; co-host of The High Friends podcast which is in its second season of sharing stories of women who unapologetically love cannabis; a mentor and advisor for Leaf Forward, Canada’s first cannabis business-accelerator program; Host and Producer of the newly launched cable television program Cannabis TV, which broadcasts modern cannabis education for curious Canadians every week on the CHCH network; and the founder of The BLOC (Boss Ladies of Cannabis) the global database of executive women in the cannabis industry.
Angela Smith, PhD
Angela is Founder and Principal of Catalyst Life Science Consulting, providing expertise and strategic advisory services in the cannabis sector, including regulatory compliance and submissions, communications, and evidence-based education.
Angela has over a decade of experience in regulatory and scientific/medical affairs, supporting strictly regulated products, including cannabis, natural health products, nutritional supplements and infant formula/infant foods.
Her strong working knowledge of Canadian and international regulatory frameworks, enables her to assist cannabis licence applicants and license holders under the Cannabis Act, non-profit healthcare provider and patient advocacy organizations, and media and technology companies.
Lisa Harun is the CMO and Co-Founder of Vapium Inc- a data driven, MedTech company leading three brands in the Cannabis Industry and is a MaRS Advisor.
In 2013, she co-founded Vapium with Roboticist Michael Trzecieski. The company’s three brands sell in over 20 countries and is a resident at Jlabs Toronto (Johnson & Johnson). Lisa wants to help people access medicine in a meaningful way and marvels at the outcome of seeing her ideas on the shelves. Lisa was recently featured in the Top 100 Women in Cannabis High Times.
Megan is the Executive Producer for TheGrowthOp.com, an exciting new Postmedia editorial brand. The site is focused on delivering the latest information about cannabis to a wide-ranging audience interested in the business, news, health and culture of cannabis.
Megan is leading TheGrowthOp’s editorial strategy as well as contributing content. With over a decade of experience in marketing, advertising and custom content, Megan brings experience and a passion for the potential of cannabis to her role.
Alanna is a Director of Consumer Market Strategy at Aurora, one of the world’s largest and leading cannabis companies. Aurora is vertically integrated and horizontally diversified across every key segment of the value chain, from facility engineering and design to cannabis breeding and genetics research, cannabis and hemp production, derivatives, high value-add product development, brand building, and wholesale and retail distribution.
Before joining the Aurora team, Alanna worked at MedReleaf, a Canadian Cannabis producer, in both Brand Management and Strategy where she was an integral part of building and launching two leading Canadian recreational cannabis brands San Rafael ‘71 and AltaVie.
Prior to working in the cannabis industry, Alanna built a strong foundation in business management, brand building, and innovation working in the CPG industry at Kraft Heinz where she worked on a range of iconic brands like Cracker Barrel, Kraft, Philadelphia, McCafe and Nabob.
Alanna has a Commerce degree from Queen’s University.
